#12 The Unfinished Obelisk Artifacts
The Unfinished Obelisk artifacts is said to be the tallest known obelisk discovered by archeologists. Located in Aswan, Egypt, it was carved from solid bedrock, but was never finished because it developed large fractures in the granite. It is believed these cracks occured because it was attempted to move it when it was first created, which was likely during the reign of Queen Hapshepsut during the 18th dynasty. The obelisk gives historians many clues on just how the ancient Egyptians quarries their stone and granite. The key to one of the great mysteries of the world lies in this ancient artifact.
